1. 축약형 X.

Don't 나 Isn't 도 안 쓰는 게 좋음. Do not 이나 Is not!

lots of 도 안 됨. a lot of

 

2. 반드시 the 를 붙여야 하는 단어

the internet.

3. 변화와 정도를 나타내는 표현

 

* 관사 + 형용사 + 명사

동사 + 부사

 

- 증가

increase, rise, grow, go up, climb, surge

- 감소

dip, fall (fall down 은 넘어지다!), reduce, slump, plunge, tumble

- 변동 X

no change, do not change, remain stable, stay constant, maintain at the same level

- 큰 변화

fluctuate

- 최고점, 최저점

a peak, a bottom

at the highest point, at the lowest point 

- 점진적인, 꾸준히

gradual, steady, moderate

- 빠른

rapid, sharp, quick

- 엄청난

significant, dramatic, remarkable, considerable
